Service Description
Adult Outpatient Services at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue include:
--Providing outpatient medication management and group and individual talk therapy that takes a holistic and multidisciplinary approach toward each individual, focused on adults 18 and older.
--Additional Services: Health Monitoring, Neuropsychological/Psychological Testing, Family and Couples Therapy, Group Therapy, Vocational Rehab
--Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Case Workers, Nurses and Techs
--OnTrack: coordinated specialty care model of treatment for young adults who have experienced a recent first episode of psychosis.
--Primary Care in Behavioral Health (PCBH): primary care clinicians available to see our most psychiatrically complex patients in the Adult Outpatient Clinic.
The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry offers the following clinical services:
Inpatient care:
--A 15-bed unit for children, ages 4 through 12
--Two 15-bed units for adolescents, ages 12 through 18
--Consultation Liaison Service to the Pediatrics inpatient service
Outpatient care:
--Child and adolescent mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health
--Continuing day treatment program for children and adolescents (25 slots)
--Integrated Mental Health Program in Pediatrics Ambulatory Care
Emergency services:
--State-certified Child and Adolescent Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency program, which comprises an Evaluation Unit, a 6-bed Extended Observation Unit (EOU), an Interim Crisis Clinic, and access to Mobile Crisis services.
Crisis Intervention:
--Home-Based Crisis Intervention Program
--Mental health team located at the Agency for Children’s Services Pre-Placement Center
