Service Description
Do you need someone to talk to?\n\nWe are a network of Jewish emotional and spiritual volunteer-supporters with emotional and spiritual advising skills, including licensed therapists, social workers, clergy, chaplains, and advanced students, seeking to help persons over the age of 18, regardless of religious identity or affiliation, during these challenging times. We are offering support during the COVID-19 pandemic and after.\n\nNote that RUACH DOES NOT provide mental health, medical or other therapeutic care. We are providing short-term (1-6 sessions) volunteer support to help meet immediate emotional and spiritual needs. Following your time with us, if you wish, you will be referred to a local service agency. Services provided by RUACH are not a substitute for mental health care, therapy, or psychological or medical services . Our service is 100% free for users in order to lower barriers to emotional and spiritual support.
