Service Description
Trans Lifeline's Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers. Call them if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you're not in crisis or if you're not sure you're trans. Our Hotline launched shortly after Trans Day of Remembrance of 2014 in response to the epidemic of suicide in our community. Trans Lifeline's Hotline believes that some of the best support that a trans person in crisis can have is a fellow member of the community with shared lived experience.
Dial (877) 565-8860 in the United States or (877) 330-6366 in Canada and press #2 to connect with Spanish-speaking operators.
Trans Lifeline’s hotline operating hours are Monday through Friday:
10 AM – 6 PM Pacific
11 AM – 7 PM Mountain
12 PM – 8 PM Central
1 PM – 9 PM Eastern
