Service Description
The Center for Resiliency and Wellness was formed in 2021 by merging the Children’s Safety Project and the Senior Health and Consultation Center. The Center provides intergenerational, trauma-informed, mental health services to children, youth, families, adults, and older adults, ages 3 to 100+. These services include individual, group, family, and couple therapies as well as medication management. Therapy services are available in Spanish and English. The Center also is a designated Opioid Overdose Prevention Program providing a harm reduction approach to persons with mental health and substance use challenges.
The Center continues to incorporate the mission of the former Children’s Safety Project of treatment and prevention for children as well as adults who have been victims or witnesses of abuse. The Center continues to integrate the Senior Health and Consultation Center’s unique lens as the only one of its kind in lower Manhattan providing mental health care, light home health care for those enrolled, and optional physical and health monitoring services.
Our caring, qualified staff is sensitive and reliable, providing quality care at a personalized level.
